Amenities
Between our big backyard, dog friendly rooms, and free wifi around the property, we’ve got everything you need for a great visit to Bisbee!
DOG Friendly
Dogs are welcome at the JQ! We charge a $25 fee and please be aware that your dog may not be left alone in your room during your stay. Bisbee is very dog-friendly and many of the shops, bars, and restaurants will accommodate your pup as well.
wifi
Every room at the JQ includes free wifi. Sometimes you need to get a little work done and you definitely need to post all the photos of your adventures!
Centrally LOCATED
The Jonquil Motel is perfectly situated just up the canyon from historic downtown Bisbee. We’re within walking distance of everything, yet far enough away to enjoy the quiet courtyard after a day of exploring. Old Bisbee is serviced by golf cart shuttles and you can get a lift to or from the JQ from anywhere in town.
Ground Floor Accommodations
Our historic motor court might be the flattest place in all of Bisbee! There are no stairs to get to your room and the entire property is ground level. Note, our accommodations work well for some, but not all, mobility needs. Please call with specific questions so we can best accommodate you.
Private Parking
Parking in Old Bisbee can be tricky, but not at the Jonquil Motel! With one of the few private parking lots in town, you can leave your vehicle safely for the duration of your stay. Additionally, our Deluxe Double Queen Room has a private covered carport for one vehicle.
Backyard
Whether sipping coffee in the Arizona sunshine or enjoying a cocktail on a cool Bisbee evening, the JQ backyard is the best! Our one-acre yard is yours to use for the duration of your stay. With sitting areas, string lights, a fire pit, stage, and sauna, this might just be the perfect place to host your next event or gathering!
Mural
Rose Johnson painted her "Sleepwalking" mural in 2004. Based on the 1928 poem "Romance Sonámbulo" by Federico García Lorca, this vivid dreamscape sprawls across the entire wall of the Jonquil and measures 60’ wide by 15’ tall. Rose passed away tragically in 2009 and we are honored that her legacy graces the side of our motel. The Jonquil is committed to preserving this incredible piece of art which has become one of the most photographed sights in Bisbee.
